Meet Dr. Dryden
Background
Dr. Dryden is honored to serve the dental community of Carson City and the surrounding areas. Originally from California, his educational journey and service in the United States Army took him across multiple states and even overseas to Germany. He is grateful to be back in the western United States—closer to family and the outdoor lifestyle he enjoys.
Education and Training
Dr. Dryden earned his undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Brigham Young University (BYU) in Utah. He began his dental education at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2001, where he developed a passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. After graduating in 2005, he entered active duty with the U.S. Army and went on to complete a four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Following his residency, Dr. Dryden was selected to remain at Walter Reed as a faculty member and Assistant Program Director for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program. After nine years at Walter Reed and the National Naval Medical Center, he was stationed at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, where he served for three years as Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Dryden became board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2012. He completed 12 years of honorable service in the U.S. Army and was discharged with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Personal Life
Dr. Dryden enjoys spending time with his wife, Erica, and their five children. Together, they love exploring the outdoors and taking full advantage of the natural beauty that Nevada has to offer.
