Meet Dr. Dryden
Background
Dr. Dryden is very excited to be a part of the dental community in Carson City and the surrounding areas. Dr. Dryden is originally from California. After his education and US Army service moved him from several states and Germany, he is happy to be back in the west, closer to family and great outdoor opportunities.
Education
Dr. Dryden completed his undergraduate training at Brigham Young University and majored in Human Biology. His dental training began at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2001. While at USC he gained a love for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Upon graduation from USC in 2005, Dr. Dryden began his service in the US Army. He completed a four year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC. After residency Dr. Dryden was selected to continue as faculty and assistant program director for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program. After nine years at Walter Reed Army Medical Center/National Military Medical Center, Dr. Dryden was stationed oversees at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany. Here Dr. Dryden served as the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Service Chief for three years. Dr. Dryden received his board certification from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in 2012. Dr. Dryden completed his 12 years in the US Army and received an honorable discharge as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Personal
Dr. Dryden loves spending time with his wife, Erica and their five children. They love being outdoors and taking advantage of all the beauty surrounding them here in Nevada.
